A Story of D Day

On this day, 79 years ago, brave men mounted an assault against fearful odds to defeat Nazi Germany, and save the world. They stormed the beaches from landing craft, going into machine gun fire, artillery, land mines, barbed wire, and attacking fortified positions like the pill box above, totally exposed to murderous fire. We should never forget. We owe them a debt that can never be paid.
